Who We Are

We are a Whangamata based group of artists, artisans, musicians, bards, etc, focused on bringing creativity to our wider community

A group of artists, artisans, and crafts people of varying disciplines based in and around Whangamata and the South East Coromandel. 
  • Name: Arts Collective Whangamata Incorporated Society with a membership area covering the North Island of New Zealand

  • Long Term:  Our aim is to foster all art mediums and forms and to provide events for artisans to display their work and talent. 
  • Working Group:  The Arts Collective  is a registered Incorporated Society with an Executive Committee comprising  8 memebers.  This  Inagural Executive Committee is tasked with  setting the Society Rules and steering the Arts Colective  direction over the next 6 - 12 months :-
